That's the short version. Here's everything else you'd want to know before you call — including the numbers most rental companies in Dubai won't put on their website.

We deliver across all of Dubai: Al Quoz, Dubai Industrial Park, Jebel Ali, Dubai South, Al Qusais, Business Bay, DIP, and everywhere in between. If your site is inside a gated zone like JAFZA, tell us when you book — we'll sort the gate passes before the truck leaves our yard. Working further north? We also cover heavy vehicle rental in Ras Al Khaimah and every emirate in between — see our full UAE heavy vehicle rental services page.

Heavy Vehicle Rental Rates in Dubai — Our Fleet and What It Costs

Most rental companies in Dubai make you fill out a form just to learn a ballpark price. We think that wastes your time, so here's what heavy vehicle rental prices per day look like in Dubai for 2026, across our most-requested classes. Your final quote depends on duration, operator requirements and your site location — but you won't find surprises on the invoice that weren't in the quote.

*Indicative Dubai market guide rates for 2026, excluding delivery. Weekly and monthly hires drop the daily equivalent by 20–40% — if your project runs past two weeks, ask about monthly heavy vehicle rental rates before you sign anything daily. Crane rental costs in the UAE swing more than any other class — capacity, lift plan and duration all move the number — which is why our 100T+ classes are quoted per job.

Notice the last two rows. Most "heavy equipment" companies in Dubai stop at machines — but we run truck, trailer and low-bed rental in Dubai alongside the fleet, because heavy vehicle rental includes the haulage side too. If you need a 20T excavator on site in Dubai South AND the low-bed to get it there, that's one call and one invoice, not two suppliers pointing fingers when the delivery slips.

A real example of how this plays out: a fit-out contractor in Al Quoz called us at 9am — their owned forklift had died with a container delivery arriving after lunch. We quoted a 5T diesel forklift in twenty minutes and it was offloading their container by 1pm. Daily hire, no minimum-week nonsense, returned three days later when their machine was repaired. That's the job this page exists for.

Wet Hire vs Dry Hire

With Operator or Self-Drive? Here's How to Decide

This is the question that causes the most confusion — and the most disputes — in Dubai's rental market, so let's be blunt about it.

Wet hire — with operator

Heavy equipment rental with an operator — means our machine, our certified operator, our fuel and maintenance. You direct the work; we handle everything else. If the machine breaks down, that's our problem — we repair or replace it, usually the same day. For cranes, wet hire isn't optional: our crane operators come certified, and every lift over standard thresholds gets a lift plan.

Dry hire — machine only

Costs less per day, but the responsibility shifts to you. Your operator needs the right UAE licence category for that class — a light-vehicle licence doesn't cover a 20T excavator, and if an unlicensed operator has an accident, your insurance likely won't pay out. You also cover fuel and daily checks. Dry hire makes sense when you have licensed operators on payroll and a project long enough to justify managing the machine yourself.

The honest rule of thumb: for anything under a month, wet hire almost always wins once you count operator wages, fuel and downtime risk. One of our regular clients — an MEP contractor in DIP — ran the numbers on a 3-month telehandler hire and went dry only because they already employed two licensed operators. For their two-week jobs, they take wet hire every time.

Liability, in one sentence each: on wet hire, we're responsible for the machine and its operation; on dry hire, you're responsible for operation and operational damage, while wear-and-tear stays ours. Every quote states this in writing, so nobody's arguing about it after the fact.

How It Works

How Renting Works (and How Fast, Honestly)

Tell us what you need

WhatsApp, phone or the form below. If you don't know whether you need a 25T or 50T crane, tell us the load weight, lift height and site conditions instead. Sizing the machine is our job, and over-speccing wastes your money.

Quote within 1 hour

During working hours (07:00–20:00, seven days). One all-inclusive figure: machine, operator if wet hire, delivery to your gate.

Dispatch in 2–4 hours

On average for standard classes in stock. Big cranes and specialised transport need more lead time — we'll tell you exactly how much when we quote, not after you've booked.

On-site support for the whole hire

Breakdown? We respond same-day, and if the machine can't be fixed on site, we swap it. A machine standing idle on your invoice is the fastest way to lose a customer, and we didn't build a 15-year business by losing customers.

Heavy vehicle delivery and handover at a Dubai construction site
Compliance Handled

Dubai Truck Permits & Road Rules — Handled

Here's something that made headlines in March 2026 and still causes confusion: Dubai Police and the RTA temporarily allowed trucks on all Dubai roads around the clock, with only the Airport and Al Shindagha tunnels still restricted. The key word is temporarily — the easing ended on 8 March 2026, and outside windows like it the standard truck restriction hours apply on Dubai's designated corridors. And whatever the clock says, oversized and abnormal loads (that 30T excavator on a low-bed counts) still need permits, and certain moves still require escorts.

When you rent from us, that's our paperwork, not yours. We handle route permits, gate passes for zones like JAFZA and Dubai South, and escort arrangements for wide loads. You tell us where the machine needs to be and when; the compliance is baked into the delivery.

Common Questions

FAQ

How much does heavy vehicle rental in Dubai cost per day?

As a guide for 2026: forklifts from AED 500–1,200/day, excavators from AED 500/day for minis up to AED 4,100/day for 20–30T machines, and mobile cranes from AED 1,500–3,000/day for 25–50T classes. See our full 2026 price guide for every class.

Is diesel included in the rental price?

On wet hire (with operator), fuel is typically included in the all-inclusive quote. On dry hire, refuelling is the renter's responsibility. The written quote states the fuel policy explicitly.

What is the minimum rental period?

One day for most machine classes, with no forced weekly minimum. Same-day dispatch is often possible for bookings made before noon.

Can you deliver the same day in Dubai?

Yes, in most cases. Average dispatch is 2–4 hours for in-stock classes across Dubai. Large cranes and abnormal-load transport need extra lead time for permits and lift planning.

Do I need a permit to move heavy vehicles in Dubai?

For standard deliveries, no — we handle transport within the permitted hours. Oversized or abnormal loads need RTA permits and sometimes escorts, which we arrange as part of delivery. Note: the widely reported March 2026 lifting of Dubai truck restrictions was a temporary easing that ended on 8 March — here's what actually changed.

Who is liable if the equipment is damaged during the rental?

On wet hire, the rental company's operator runs the machine and carries responsibility for its operation. On dry hire, the renter is liable for operational damage while normal wear-and-tear remains the company's. The liability split is written into every quote.

What are monthly heavy vehicle rental rates in Dubai?

Monthly hires typically run 20–40% below the daily-rate equivalent, and projects of 3+ months can be negotiated further, including embedded operator arrangements.

Do you cover Jebel Ali, Dubai South and free zones?

Yes — all of Dubai including JAFZA, Dubai South and Dubai Industrial City. Mentioning the zone when booking lets gate passes be arranged in advance.
