Heavy Vehicle Recovery & Equipment Transport
— 24/7 Dispatch, Loads to 80 Tonnes, Permits Handled
A machine that won’t start, a truck off the road, or plant that needs moving between sites — we dispatch heavy recovery vehicles and low-bed trailers across all seven emirates, around the clock, with oversize permits and cargo insurance handled for you.
Recovery or Transport — Which Do You Need?
Two different jobs that people often phone about in the same breath.
Recovery is unplanned. A machine has broken down, a truck has come off the road, or plant is stuck or overturned and has to be moved now. It needs the right recovery vehicle, and often a crane or winch, dispatched fast.
Equipment transport is planned. Plant needs to move between sites, arrive from a supplier, or go back to the yard. That’s low-bed trailer work, booked in advance, timed around road restrictions.
We do both, from the same dispatch desk. When you call, tell us which one it is — recovery gets prioritised.

Low-Bed Transport: Moving Plant Between Sites
Every tracked machine that arrives on your site came on a trailer, and every one leaves the same way. Transport is a real line in your equipment cost — typically AED 800–2,500 each way depending on the machine and the distance.
What we need to quote it accurately:
- The machine — type, model and operating weight (or a photo of the data plate)
- Both addresses — where it’s loading from and where it’s going
- Access at both ends — a trailer needs room to get in, load and turn around
- When it needs to move — so we can plan around truck restrictions
Oversize loads need permits and sometimes escorts, and heavy movements on Dubai’s main routes are restricted during peak periods — detail in our Dubai truck permit rules guide. We handle the permits; you just need to tell us early enough for the paperwork.
If you’re weighing transport costs when choosing a machine, note that a wheeled JCB backhoe loader can often drive itself between nearby sites and avoid the charge entirely.
What to Tell Us When You Call
Recovery goes faster when the first call carries the right information. Have ready:
- Exact location — a pin or coordinates beats a description every time
- What the machine or vehicle is, and roughly what it weighs
- What’s wrong — won’t start, off the road, sunk in sand, overturned, or damaged
- Where it is — on a public road, on a live site, in a yard, or in an excavation
- Access — can a recovery vehicle and trailer reach it, and is there room to work
- A site contact who will answer the phone when the crew arrives
If the vehicle is on a public road, make the scene safe first and follow police instructions — then call us. Safety of the people on site comes before the machine, always.
Where We Operate — and How Fast
We dispatch across all seven emirates — Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain — 24 hours a day, with a typical response of 2 to 6 hours depending on location and what the job needs.
Planned equipment transport is booked in advance and timed around heavy-vehicle restrictions on the main routes. Emergency recovery is dispatched as fast as we can get a suitable vehicle to you.
We also recover and transport machines we didn’t rent you — you don’t need to be a rental customer to call.

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can you respond to a heavy vehicle recovery?
Typically within 2 to 6 hours depending on location and what the job requires, 24 hours a day across all seven emirates. Give us a location pin, the machine type and what's wrong, and we'll dispatch the right vehicle.
How much does low-bed equipment transport cost?
Typically AED 800–2,500 each way depending on the machine's weight and the distance, including driver, route planning and permits. Recovery jobs are quoted individually because the vehicle and crew needed vary.
What weight can your low-bed trailers carry?
Up to 80 tonnes. Tell us the machine type and operating weight — or send a photo of the data plate — and we'll confirm the right trailer.
Do you handle oversize load permits?
Yes. Oversize permits and route planning are handled by us, including timing around heavy-vehicle restrictions on Dubai's main routes. We need enough notice for the paperwork, so tell us the move date early.
Is the equipment insured during transport?
Yes — cargo is covered during transport. Confirm the specifics with us when booking, particularly for high-value or specialised plant.
Do you recover machines you didn't rent to us?
Yes. Recovery and transport are available to anyone, whether or not the machine came from our fleet.
Can you recover a machine stuck in sand?
Yes — it's one of the most common calls we take in the UAE. Tell us how deep it's stuck, what the machine is, and whether a recovery vehicle can reach it, so we send the right equipment first time.
Are you available at night and on weekends?
Yes. Recovery dispatch runs 24/7, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
